How to Play

The Objective
Outsmart your opponent by continuously transforming a shared word. The last player able to make a valid word wins!

Your Hand
You start with all 26 letters. Once you use a letter, it is gone for the rest of the match!

Making a Move

  1. Rearrange: Rearrange the letters of the current word to shuffle them into a new order. Select a letter from the common word and tap the letter with which you want to swap positions;
  2. Select: Tap an available letter from your bank.
  3. Target: Tap the letter on the board you want to replace.
  4. Submit: Click "Make Move".
  5. Example: If the current word is "CAT" and you want to replace the "C" with an "M", tap the "C" on the board and then tap the "M" from your letter bank. If you want to make the word "TAP" by swapping the "C" and "T", tap the "C" and then tap the "T". To replace the "C" with a "P" select them in any order and click "Make Move".

The Rules

  • Must be a real dictionary word.
  • Must be different from the word you inherited (even if you rearrange it).
  • No adding or subtracting—you must replace exactly one letter.

Giving Up & Winning

  • If you absolutely cannot think of a word, press Give Up.
  • If your opponent gives up, you must make one final valid move to prove you had a winning play.
  • If both players give up, the board resets, but you must keep playing with your remaining letters!
